■ 아르카디아(Arkadia)는 2004년에 결성된 핀란드의 5인조 멜로딕 데스메탈 밴드로, 2002년 고등학교 동창생들로 이루어진 스쿨밴드 마이 캐시드럴(My Cathedral)에서 진화한 것이 아르카디아(Arkadia)가 된다.

■ 현재까지 3장의 풀-랭쓰 스튜디오 앨범과 2장의 EP 앨범을 출시하였고, 2014년 데뷔앨범 [Unrelenting]과 2016년 2번째 앨범 [Aspirations & Reality]는 인벌스 레코드(Inverse Records)에서 2019년 3번째 앨범 [Master of Fears]는 자체제작으로 출시되었다.

■ 전체적으로 아이언 메이든(Iron Maiden)같은 뉴웨이브 오브 브리티쉬 헤비메탈(NWOBHM)에 중,후기의 센턴스드(Sentenced), 그리고 미국의 메탈코어 밴드 킬스위치 엥게이지(Killswitch Engage)의 영향을 많이 받은 느낌이다.

475. Among the Prey (어몽 더 프레이)

 - Melodic Death Metal / Metalcore -

■ 어몽 더 프레이(Among the Prey)는 2013년에 결성된 핀란드의 3인조 멜로딕 데스메탈 밴드, 기타와 베이스 그리고 보컬까지 도맡아 하는 이로 쿤트시(Iiro Kuntsi)가 이끌고 있는 밴드이다.

■ 또 다른 멤버인 드러머 아테 팔로캉가스(Atte Palokangas)는 아고나이저(Agonizer), 비스트 인 블랙(Beast in Black), 썬더스톤(Thunderstone)등에서도 활약하고 있는 핀란드 최고의 헤비 드러머 중 하나이다.

■ 2016년까지는 이로 쿤트시(Iiro Kuntsi), 아테 팔로캉가스(Atte Palokangas)의 듀오로 활동해오다 2017년 스카스 오브 솔리튜드(Scars of Solitude)의 기타리스트 투오모 라울라이넨(Tuomo Laulainen)이 정식멤버로 영입되어 3인조로 전환하게 된다.

■ 어몽 더 프레이(Among the Prey)는 현재까지 1장의 풀-랭쓰 스튜디오 앨범을 출시하였고, 이 2016년 데뷔 앨범 [Only for the Blinded Eyes]는 인벌스 레코드(Inverse Records)를 통해 발매가 이루어졌다.

■ 아마니타 비로사(Amanita Virosa)는 2008년에 결성된 핀란드의 6인조 멜로딕 데스메탈 밴드로, 이들은 병원과 질병과 관련한 컨셉으로 하고 있어 자신들의 음악을 'Hostpital Metal'로 규정짓고 있다.

■ 현재까지 2장의 풀-랭쓰 스튜디오 앨범을 출시하였으며, 모두 독특한 컨셉의 독창적인 음악을 선보이고 있다.

■ 아마니타 비로사(Amanita Virosa) 멤버들 중에서는 키보디스트 올리 리트코넨(Olli Rytkönen/Cantor Satana)의 이력만 알려져 있을 뿐, 나머지 멤버들의 이력은 철저히 베일에 가려져 있다.

■ 전체적으로 기타의 멜로디 라인와 보컬의 울림은 멜로딕 데스메탈의 그것이며 리듬쪽은 블랙메탈의 리프가 지배적이다. 그리고 파워메탈, 심포닉 메탈의 웅장미가 뒷받침하기도 한다.
