■ 포가튼 호러(Forgotten Horror)는 2004년에 결성된 핀란드의 2인조 스래쉬/데스 메탈 밴드로, 다중악기 연주자 투오마스 카루넨(Tuomas Karhunen)의 프로젝트 밴드라고 할 수 있다.

■ 2011년 데뷔작 [The Serpent Creation]에서는 3인조, 2015년 2번째 앨범 [Aeon of the Shadow Goddess]에서는 2인조 구성으로 앨범을 출시하였다.

■ 투오마스 카루넨(Tuomas Karhunen)은 포가튼 호러(Forgotten Horror)외에도 5인조 데스/스래쉬 메탈 밴드 데스체인(Deathchain)과 5인조 블랙메탈 밴드 트루 블랙 던(True Black Dawn)에서도 활동중이며, 드러머 라르하 리트코넨(Larha Rytkönen)은 2004년에 재결성된 5인조 블랙메탈 밴드 다크우즈 마이 베트로시드(Darkwoods My Betrothed), 데스체인(Deathchain), 5인조 블랙메탈 밴드 호르나(Horna), 3인조 블랙메탈 밴드 트롤하임스 그로트(Trollheims Grott)등에서 멤버로 재직중에 있다. 그리고 2011년 데뷔작 [The Serpent Creation]에서 베이스를 연주했던 토미 호프렌(Tommi Hoffren / Corpse)은 데스체인(Deathchain), 5인조 데스/스래쉬 메탈 밴드 윈터울프(Winterwolf)에서 활동중이기도 하다.

■ 투오마스 카루넨(Tuomas Karhunen)은 8,90년대 데스/블랙 메탈 밴드들과 클래시컬 음악에서 영향을 많이 받았다고 밝혔으며, 가사는 블랙메탈에서는 흔한 오컬트나 신화같은 것들에 대한 내용이라고 한다.

■ 라이 인 루인스(Lie in Ruins)는 핀란드의 5인조 데스메탈 밴드로, 기타리스트 투오마스 쿨말라(Tuomas Kulmala)와 보컬리스트 로니 사하리(Roni Sahari)가 주축이 되어 2002년에 결성되었다.

■ 라이 인 루인스(Lie in Ruins)는 밴드 결성 후, 약 2년간은 2인 구성이었으며, 2008년 첫 EP 앨범 [Architecture of the Dead] 제작 시점에서 4인조로 재편, 2014년 2번째 풀-랭쓰 스튜디오 앨범인 [Towards Divine Death]때는 5인조 편성으로 녹음이 되었다고 한다. 현재 라인업은 드러머 아키 코스키넨(Aki Koskinen)이 탈퇴하여 4인조로 활동하고 있다.

■ 라이 인 루인스(Lie in Ruins)는 현재까지 총 2장의 풀-랭쓰 스튜디오 앨범과 2장의 EP 앨범을 출시하였으며, 가장 최근작은 2018년에 발표한 EP 앨범 [Demise]가 된다.

■ 투오마스 쿨말라(Tuomas Kulmala)는 라이 인 루인스(Lie in Ruins)외에도 5인조 데스메탈 밴드 콥세시드(Corpsessed), 5인조 블랙메탈 밴드 퍼디션 윈즈(Perdition Winds)에서도 활동 중이며, 로니 사하리(Roni Sahari)는 3인조 데스메탈 밴드 디솔레이트 슈라인(Desolate Shrine), 퍼디션 윈즈(Perdition Winds), 5인조 블랙메탈 밴드 사르가이스트(Sargeist)에서도 멤버로 재직중에 있다.

■ 기타리스트 로니 아르링(Roni Ärling)은 투오마스 쿨말라(Tuomas Kulmala)와 로니 사하리(Roni Sahari)와 함께 퍼디션 윈즈(Perdition Winds)를 결성하였으며, 드러머 주씨-페카 만네르(Jussi-Pekka Manner)는 콥세시드(Corpsessed)에서 활동하고 있기도 하다.

■ 많은 데스메탈 밴드들이 둠메탈의 사운드 스케이프를 혼입시키고 있고, 라이 인 루인스(Lie in Ruins) 또한 그러한 밴드들 중에 하나이지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 비슷한 계열의 다른 밴드들과는 다른 독창적인 방법으로 본인들만의 사운드로 승화시켜 놓는 데 성공했다.

- Symphonic Death Metal / Melodic Death Metal -

■ 엔쓰링(Enthring)은 핀란드의 5인조 심포닉 메탈 밴드로, 기타와 보컬의 페테리 에바소야(Petteri Eväsoja)와 보컬과 기타의 톰미 캉가스코르테트(Tommi Kangaskortet)를 주축으로 2006년에 결성되었다.

■ 2011년 페테리 에바소야(Petteri Eväsoja)와 톰미 캉가스코르테트(Tommi Kangaskortet)를 제외한 3명의 멤버들이 탈퇴하였고, 2014년에는 페테리 에바소야(Petteri Eväsoja)마저 탈퇴, 현재 오리지널 멤버는 톰미 캉가스코르테트(Tommi Kangaskortet)만 남았지만, 2019년 이후의 라인업은 4인조 구성으로 편성되어 있다.

■ 엔쓰링(Enthring)은 여러 음악의 영향을 받아서 자신들만의 음악을 형성시키는 데는 성공했지만, 좋은 음악성에도 불구하고, 인지도는 아직 미미한 편.

■ 엔쓰링(Enthring)의 리더인 톰미 캉가스코르테트(Tommi Kangaskortet)는 자신들의 음악은 윈터선(Wintersun), 칼마(Kalmah), 칠드런 오브 보덤(Children of Bodom), 엔시페룸(Ensiferum), 플레쉬갓 아포칼립스(Fleshgod Apocalypse), 나이트위시(Nightwish), 딤무 보거(Dimmu Borgir)의 조합이라고 밝힌 적이 있다.

■ 2019년에 영입된 멤버 중에는 현 칼마(Kalmah)의 멤버로 활동중에 있는 드러머 얀네 쿠스민(Janne Kusmin)과 베이시스트 티모 레티넨(Timo Lehtinen)이 포함되어 있다.
